This commit bumps Linux to 6.12.20 and U-Boot to 2025.01, to
align versions to those used in the Hifive Unmatched defconfig
to make maintenance easier. The new U-Boot version needs gnutls.
This commit also enabled BR2_DOWNLOAD_FORCE_CHECK_HASHES in
defconfigs. The .checkpackageignore is updated to reflect that change.

Move the generic part of the configuration into a new "common" directory
so that it is easier to add similar boards without duplicating the files.

During the hackathon in Vienna, it was decided [0] to stop requiring
annotated defconfig files, and that they should all be regenerated.
This commit does just that.
This is a mechanical change, achieved by running (the defcfg script is
repriducedc at the end of the commit log):

Out of our 302 defconfig files, only 247 needed regenerating, which
means that about 1 in 5 was already not providing the requested
annotations.
To be noted: three defconfig files had duplicate definitions, which this
commit resolves:

Below is the script to reproduce the commmit. What it does is regenerate
the configuration first, then applies a patch to update kernel headers
to 3.11, and then recalls the defconfig again, and finally verifies that
the 3.11 headers are not selected (and ignores whether the latest are
selected or not): we want to catch whether defconfig that were using
3.10, currently the latest we support, would stioll get those headers
after we regeerate those.

To verify that no other changes are made to the defconfigs that are
risky when the defaults change, we ran the following simple script
(where buildroot-prev is a checkout just before this commit). It shows
that there are many settings removed because they are default, but none
of them run the same risk that the default is going to be changed in the

The generic extension set 'G' is realy a base with the minimal set of
extensions needed to be comfortable (but not required) to run a
linux-bassed system. Similarly, we consider the custom to be about the
custom set of features (not about a custom core implementing such a
set).
As such, we allow that a core with the G set can have futher extensions
without requiring it to be configured as a custom set.
We drop the intermediate symbols with the prompts, and move the prompts
to the previously hidden symbols, and add a prompt for the I set.
This alows one to clearly see what the generic set is about, without
having to delve into the help and hunt the list of selected symbol.
Note however that the G set implies Zicsr and Zifencei, but we have no
prompt for thos two, because in Buildroot, we assume that they are
mandatory and always present, like the I set (which they previously were
part of).

BR2_RISCV_ISA_CUSTOM_RVA is currently not explicitly listed as it is
selected by BR2_riscv_custom. This looks confusing. Let's enable it.

With upstream commit ae2d9506a36c ("riscv: sifive: Rename fu540 board to unleashed")
in U-Boot v2021.07 release, the defconfig for SiFive Unleashed board
has been changed to sifive_unleashed_defconfig.
Also newer U-Boot has deprecated the usage of SPL_FIT_GENERATOR
to generate u-boot.itb hence there is no 'u-boot.itb' target in
the U-Boot Makefile anymore. Instead binman is used to assemble
the u-boot.itb image.
We will need to switch to BR2_TARGET_UBOOT_FORMAT_CUSTOM for
installing u-boot.itb.
Switch over to use the latest U-Boot v2023.04 release.

Update to use the official linux kernel v5.10 instead of an
out-of-tree kernel, and use the official U-Boot v2021.01 as the
bootloader. Provide two configuration files of genimage for different
boot flows:
- Boot from SD card (default)
- Boot from SPI flash
A boot script is generated to automatically boot the distro.
